Dr. Rajaganesh Gautam

Dr. Rajaganesh Gautam is a board-certified orthodontist with dual practices in Pune and Abu Dhabi.
He completed his BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai in 2000 and completed his MDS (Masters in Dental Surgery) in Orthodontics from MCODS (Manipal College of Dental Sciences), Mangalore in 2002. He has completed international Mini-Residency programs in advanced orthodontics at the Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, and at Taipeh Medical University, Taipeh, Taiwan.
He certified as a Diplomate of National Board (DNB), awarded by the National Board of Medical Sciences, in 2003 and as a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics in 2013.
He maintains a private practice exclusively restricted to orthodontics in Pune and one at Abu Dhabi, UAE for the last 18 years. He is a professor, adjunct faculty at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, has an academic teaching career of more than 15 years, and has authored publications in both national and international journals. He is also on the board of reviewers for many of these journals. He has conducted national workshops related to the use of TADs in orthodontics.
He has been an invited keynote speaker at the Indian Orthodontic Society national conferences, post-graduate student conventions, and at various national and international orthodontic forums.
He currently serves as an Executive Committee (EC) member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and a Director of the Indian Board of Orthodontics.
His clinical and research interests include adult/ interdisciplinary treatment, aligner orthodontics, temporary anchorage devices, orthodontic resolution of impacted teeth, and biological mechanisms in orthodontics.
